Baltic Bulk Carriers AB (BBC) is a privately owned and independent Swedish shipping company founded in 2014 by shipping entrepreneurs, Captain Mohamed Badawy, Håkan Granander and Magnus Granander.
BBC specializes in commercial operations for voyage and time charter tonnage as well as ship brokerage for dry bulk vessels.
Our strong presence, through our strategic partner and sister company United Marine Egypt (UME, founded by Capt. Badawy in 2004) has brought us forward to be one of the leading Panamax carriers of wheat for the Egyptian Government. In addition, UME is also operating a dedicated RORO service in the Red Sea from Egypt to Saudi Arabia including Ship Management, Technical Management and Crew Management.

Mohamed Badawy has 30 years of experience in various fields of shipping. Capt. Badawi is founder of United Marine Egypt (UME) UME operates a dedicated RORO service in the Red Sea from Egypt to Saudi Arabia. Capt. Badawi is also a partner and Managing Director of Gulf Agency Company (Egypt) Ltd which he established 1996.

Magnus Granander has worked with shipbroking and vessel operations internationally since 2002 in Monaco, Switzerland, London and Stockholm.
